About Me
I am from Arlington, Virginia, and an industrial design student at the University of Cincinnati. In my free time I like to work on my 2001 Subaru Forester, bake, shop at Trader Joe's, detail cars, and listen to music.
I am especially interested in automotive design, whether that be exterior or interior design, specialized parts, or accessories. I am also very curious about home goods, ergonomic, and tool design. While I initially pursued industrial design with the intent of becoming a car designer, I am trying to explore many different fields and love the design process in general!

My role as underclassmen lead for Bearcats Electric Racing (BER) has given me experience in recruiting and mentoring new members, tracking information for our data bases, giving presentations, creating and implementing new systems, and more.
Through my role as marketing lead for BER I have learned how to manage social medias, communicate with sponsoring companies, collect analytics from social media, working with a cross-disciplinary team, and plan team events. I'm developing stronger graphic and web design skills while learning about business and management.
I designed the steering wheel for Bearcats Motorsports (BCMS) and am collaborating with underclassman engineers to design BER's steering wheel as well. The experience has given me real-world experience in designing around engineering constraints, understanding human factors, designing alongside engineers, performing design validation (FEA, comfort analyses) and manufacturing the part.
I worked as an ambassador and shift lead at Jeni's over my ~3 years there. The job was extremely developmental for my time management skills, sense of responsibility, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, empathy skills, and effective teamworking skills.
I participated in the College for Creative Studies' transportation design precollege program before my senior year of highschool. Through the program I was introduced to drawing in perspective, hand-drafting orthographics, foam core prototyping, iterative design, and marker rendering.
I participated in the Maryland Institute College of Art's live figure painting precollege program. It refined my art skills and knowledge of color theory while preparing me for the time-intensive nature of collegiate art programs.
